The chimney was part of a forge and smithy, making parts for the adjacent Welch's Coach Manufactory (now demolished). The clock (the glass contraption) is the Nantwich Millennium Clock. Both can be found in the Cocoa Yard, formerly Cocoa House Yard named after the nearby Cocoa House on Pillory Street, built during the Victorian temperance movement.
