Picture of Criccieth Main Beach

Criccieth has two beaches. The west beach, or marine beach, is a sandy beach that stretches out toward the distant mountains of the Llyn peninsula, while the east beach, the main beach, is a pebbly beach that sits comfortably snuggled up to the Castle rock and the lower town. When the tide recedes the main beach is a cracking beach for rock pooling and crabbing.
