Dolgellau Catholic Church, Our Lady of Seven Sorrows, is a fine looking building of a character that befits its position in the town of Dolgellau. Built of local dolorite granite under a slate roof it gives the impression of being a building of long standing, whereas in fact it was built as recently as 1967. The crucifix above the doorway was sculpted by Professor Castiglione, whose work is also found in the bronze doors of Milan Cathedral.
