Castell Coch on the outskirts of Cardiff in South Wales looks a perfect fairytale castle. In fact it is a faux medieval castle built in Victorian times. Castell Coch translates from Welsh to "Red Castle". Owned by Lord Bute who also owned Cardiff Castle it has elaborate decorations with ceilings and walls intricately hand-painted.
