From a wide variety of trees such as mountain ash, alder, hazel, willow, ash, oak, and sycamore in the lower valley changing to hawthorn, ivy and gorse as we climb the hillside to rush pastures or marsh grass, with small colonies of cotton grass and bracken on the uplands.
