The Mawddach Bike Trail passes through such pleasant surroundings that it puts all the cyclists in a really happy mood. Well that is the impression I received as everybody I passed gave a cheery hello. The only exception was my wife, Eira Wyn, who had not been on a bicycle for fifty years and the twenty mile ride gave her a sore bum!
