Picture of Roman Well

Rather confusingly the Roman Well, or in Welsh Ffynnon Rufeinig, is also known as Ffynnon Llety Fadoc, which in Welsh means the Well of Madoc's lodgings. Whatever the name the spring is found on the Great Orme Llandudno and is believed to have been used by the Romans to wash the copper ore being mined nearby.
