This little terraced cottage was the home of the Welsh bard Hedd Wyn, Ellis Humphrey Evans, who was born in 1887 in Pen Lan, a house in Trawsfynydd, North Wales. After being killed at the Battle of Passchendaele, Hedd Wyn was posthumously awarded the Chair at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.
