Picture of Welsh Inscribed Stone Tywyn

The Tywyn stone or Cadfan/ Nitanam stone is an early Christian stone of the 7th to 9th Century on display in St Cadfan's Church in Tywyn West Wales. It was found in the early 17th century close to the church. The 5ft stone is inscribed with the oldest known written Welsh. The inscription is written vertically on all four sides.
