When shall we three meet again? In thunder, lightning, or in rain? When the hurlyburly's done, When the battle's lost and won. ...The Llanfechell Standing Stones are located in the North of Anglesey, North Wales. The three stones are set on the summit of a low hill and are visible from a wide area. They are an unusual group of three stones of similar size seemingly facing inwards toward each other. They appear shaped to represent the human form, but maybe that is my imagination. As they are several thousand years old they could not possibly have been inspired by William Shakespeare's play Macbeth, but did they inspire William Shakespeare? Did the Bard of Avon visit Anglesey?
